The first photo on the left was taken some time before Christmas. I shot this photo at Rancho Cucamonga High School. I took the photo as the lighting was amazing and the position of the palm trees helped the mountain really stand out in the center of the image. The buildings and trees also give the viewers a perception of how big the mountains are in reality as without them, there would be nothing to compare the size to and would make it difficult to guess how big the mountain is. Overall, this is probably my favorite photo that I took over break as it has lighting that complements the scenery.

For this next photo, I took it at Victoria Gardens a few days before Christmas. I went to go see a movie with a couple of my friends when I saw how bright this sign was with the pitch black background of the sky. I really liked how the bottom half of the picture is filled with bright lights and the top half is completely dark with the sign being in between . With the sign in the middle, it bridges the dark side of the photo with the brighter one. I took this photo on the move and it is a little blurry because of it, I wish I had taken my time to stop and capture it in a higher quality. Overall, I really love this image for all the different components it has in it and how I am able to keep this day that I had with my friends as an eternal memory.
